RECENT TRANSACTIONS / PLAYER MOVEMENT

May 8^th, 2013

We’re a little over a month into the season and there have been some players sent down, players moved from back and forth between levels and players put on and come off the DL.

I have not really kept up on these transactions so I’ll try to going forward.  Here’s the recent transactions:

Andrew Bailey – CP - put on Disabled List

Joel Hanrahan – CP – put on Disabled List

Allen Webster – P – called up from Triple-A Pawtucket

Felix Doubront – SP – moved to the bullpen

According to John Farrell, Doubront will only be in the bullpen through his turn in the rotation.  They don’t anticipate keeping him there.

Junichi Tazawa – RP – will serve as the Sox closer until Bailey or Hanrahan are back.

Craig Breslow – RP – activeated from Disabled List

David Ross – C – day to day with left quad strain

Will Middlebrooks – 3B – day to day with right side soreness
